Role Overview

Are you a driven and results-oriented Recruitment Consultant with a passion for the Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) sector? We are looking for a talented individual with 2+ years of agency recruitment experience to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll specialise in sourcing, engaging, and placing top talent within the M&E sector, working closely with clients across construction, engineering, and building services.

Key Responsibilities

πŸš€ Talent Sourcing & Candidate Engagement

  • Leverage multiple sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, CRM, referrals) to attract top M&E talent.
  • Conduct candidate interviews, screening, and qualification to ensure suitability for roles.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled candidates for contract and permanent positions.
  • Provide guidance and support throughout the recruitment process, from interview prep to offer negotiation.

🀝 Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing M&E clients across construction, engineering, and related industries.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific talent requirements and business needs.
  • Provide market insights and consultative advice to clients regarding salary benchmarks, talent availability, and recruitment strategies.
  • Coordinate interviews, feedback sessions, and job offers between clients and candidates.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand our M&E client base.
  • Build a specialist recruitment desk, ensuring consistent placements and revenue growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure smooth management of vacancy workflows.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, compliance requirements, and recruitment best practices.

Key Skills & Experience

βœ… 2+ years of recruitment experience within an agency environment.
βœ… Previous experience recruiting in M&E, construction, or engineering sectors (preferred but not essential).
βœ… Strong business development and client management skills.
βœ… Ability to source, attract, and engage candidates for middle-level roles.
βœ… Proficiency with CRM systems (Bullhorn preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
βœ… Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
βœ… Organised, target-driven, and able to work effectively under pressure.
